The low student to faculty ratio is prevalent in this department as I consider my professors to be my closest mentors and people that I know have my best interest in mind. I will remember how easy and simple it was to get connected to people that were able to help teach me ways to distinguish myself from others in the field. I knew I wanted to set myself apart when I got into the program, but I didn’t know how. My advisor was extremely helpful in guiding me towards the right experiences that would better my chances of finding the job I wanted."
